Happy International Women's Day!
Today is a day to celebrate all Women and their achievements.
As a Mother, Step Mother, Girlfriend & Daughter, I, like every other Woman have multi tasking roles.
I am not going to lie, some days I find it a struggle to give my time equally to the people I love the most.
The pressures of homeschooling, starting & running a business, as well as trying to look after our home really highlighted this for me.
It was bloody hard and at times I felt I was failing at least once a day in some aspect of my life.
Which got me thinking, why as Women do we beat ourselves up so much?
Geez, we are only human. We make mistakes, we sometimes mess up but so what...
It is time to simply declare how bloody great us Women actually are & help and support each other along the way.
I may not have been the best teacher, I may have dared to have a messy house, I may have even guzzled a bit too much vino at the end of another live long lock down day, but I am proud of everything I did achieve.
My business was born out of lock down. Inspired by my need to do something different with my life. The motivation to be a good role model to my Son and show him that with hard work you can achieve anything you put your mind to, even if the path takes you to unexpected places along the way.
So, when I was asked to take part in an article to celebrate Women in business by www.supportlocalmagazine.co.uk I was thrilled. As a new & independent business I wanted to share my story and inspire others.

So, from now on I am giving myself a break and it feels very liberating!
I'm not saying I will never feel the pressures of modern life again, but I am certainly going to take a moment, relax and remember how far I have come...
